Drama classes in Wirral (West)

Sing, dance, pretend, play...where will our imagination take us today?

My name is Sarah Quilty and I run Pyjama Drama on the Wirral. I am a busy Mum to two toddlers, Scarlett and Caspar and an experienced primary school teacher who has seen first hand how powerful a tool drama can be for young children.

I set up Pyjama Drama after recognising a demand for a developmental toddler and preschool group in the area. Since I began, Pyjama Drama has expanded rapidly and now caters for babies from 6 months old right up to children of 7 years. With age differentiated sessions babies and children are drawn into a world of fun and imaginative play. They gain in confidence and self esteem and acquire a tool box of drama techniques that will enrich their development.

Which class is right for your child?

Our thirty minute Dewdrops class is for babies and young toddlers. Raindrops classes are thirty five minutes and are for older toddlers more secure on their feet and who are just beginning to use their imaginations. Rainbows classes are for are preschool children and are forty minutes, Sunbeams classes are an hour long and for children between five and seven years old..

  • 'Sarah is great, I took my kids age 12 months and 28 months to Pyjama Drama which they really enjoyed and we're starting again after the summer. I like the fact that it gives me ideas of how to play with the kids that isn't toy based. Sarah also come to my house to deliver a Pyjama Drama party for my sons 1st birthday.  Sarah had the kids all in the palm of her hand as they went through the jungle looking for the monkey's birthday party and meeting snakes and frogs on the way. All the mum's and dad's keep going on about what a lovely session it was!' Zara
