Harlow Launch Gets Off To A Roaring Start

“Creative play at Pyjama Drama will give tots an early head start“, writes The Harlow Star.
” A NEW pre-school drama project aimed at developing youngsters’ confidence and imagination has been launched in Harlow.
Open to tots aged between two and five, Pyjama Drama was launched earlier this month at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church in The Stow, where classes will continue to be held on Thursday and Saturday mornings.
“We believe that children really learn through creative play and therefore it should be central to the daily lives of children,” said Pauline Gill, who runs the Harlow and East Herts group.
“It’s never too early to develop key skills and at Pyjama Drama we aim to achieve this whilst having a whole lot of fun.”
Each 40-minute session explores a new theme where children can learn new songs, play instruments, develop drama skills and play imaginative games.
Mother-of-three Sarah Randall is running the Harlow sessions, aiming to use her own experience of children’s learning to develop youngsters’ social and imaginative skills.
“This is such a key time in their development,” she said. “I want to pass onto children the benefits of play and pretend whilst encouraging parents to learn how to play with their children in a way that catches their attention and in a way they can understand.”
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come first-served basis. For more information, visit the website at www.pyjamadrama.com “
