A letter from our Directors...

July 3rd 2020

Pyjama Drama exists first and foremost to make a difference to the young children we teach. To build confidence, concentration and cooperation - to nurture healthy, happy, creative little people.

And the benefits of imaginative play for young children are clear, which is why we’re keen to get back to running our in-person classes, parties and performances as soon as possible. But the safety of our customers and staff is of paramount importance, so we’ll be following government guidelines and taking all necessary steps to ensure our return is considered and safe.

At the moment, there is little information regarding our sector (with regard to delivery of our public classes, parties and performances) but we expect that when we do start up, things may look a little different. Social distancing guidelines will, of course, be followed, and numbers in classes will potentially be reduced. Where possible, sessions may be delivered outdoors. We’ll also be undertaking regular Risk Assessments, ensuring strict hygiene measures (before, during and after sessions) and, in response to all government advice, continuing to update our Health and Safety Policy.

Where appropriate, we will be visiting nurseries, preschools and schools to deliver sessions and in these instances will be working closely with each individual setting to ensure all government guidelines are strictly followed.

Thank you for your continued support; we want keep inspiring your children, helping them learn, have fun and make sense of the world in which they live, so have added to our list of free resources that you can download to play at home. Take a look at what’s available here.

Many of our teachers have taken their classes online. Please search for your nearest club here, or contact us and we’ll put you in touch with your local leader.

Take care,
Sarah and Rachel
