Work experience

Hi I’m Sarah and I’m the managing director of Pyjama Drama. I am 38 and have three children aged between five and nine years – each of whom has been my inspiration for the creative development of the business!

I went to to the University of Exeter where I studied Drama where I achieved a 2:1. I then went to Manchester Metropolitan University and completed a PGSE in Drama and English and then become Teacher in Charge of Drama in a number of Manchester schools.

As a freelance Drama worker I have led a wide range of drama projects with children and adults alike throughout the UK, and have recently worked at the University of West of England in Bristol, training PGCE students in teaching creative dance. Pyjama Drama has now been running for nearly five years and as my children are now all at school, I work full time developing and expanding this exciting and rewarding business.
