- If you provide consent by opting in to electronic marketing communications from your local Pyjama Drama leader/Head Office, we will use the personal information you provide to us to send you (via email, phone or text), information about our sessions, workshops, parties and other products including our franchise opportunities and requesting electronic reviews of our services. You may stop receiving these communications at any time by contacting us.

- We will provide an opportunity at every point of contact to ‘opt out’ of any further communication.
- If you are a current customer of Pyjama Drama, we will use the information you provide us with to contact you regarding our service, for example processing your payment, making you aware of changes to class times or venues.
- We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.
- Your personal information will be held for an appropriate amount of time to form our customer database. This is deemed to be two years after last a service was paid for, or indefinitely should you continue to opt in to receive electronic marketing communications.
- We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to safeguard personal information.
- You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information, at any time. Please email your request to email@example.com. We will comply with any request within 28 days.
You have the right to complain to the ICO if you think there is a problem with the way we are handling data to ensure that we:
- Collect and process appropriate information, and only to the extent that it is needed to fulfil its operational needs or to comply with any legal requirements
- Ensure the quality of information used
- Ensure that the rights of people about whom information is held, can be fully exercised under the Act. These include:
a) The right to be informed that processing is being undertaken
b) The right of access to one’s personal information
c) The right to prevent processing in certain circumstances and

e) Taking appropriate technical and organisational security measures to safeguard personal information
f) Ensuring that personal information is not transferred abroad without suitable safeguards
g) Treating people justly and fairly whatever their age, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity when dealing with requests for information
h) Setting out clear procedures for responding to requests for information
- Customers are responsible for their children at all times (except during a class where the child is not accompanied by a parent/guardian)
- Customers must inform their teacher of any health issues that may be relevant, including changes in a child’s health or wellbeing before the start of a class
- Customers must follow health and safety procedures as advised to them by their teacher
- Customers should arrive promptly for classes to avoid disruption to the rest of the class
- Pyjama Drama may, at its discretion, refuse a customer entry to a session or sessions, if it is felt that the customer’s behaviour is unacceptable
Fees / refunds / cancellations
- Fees are payable in advance for the workshop/half-term/term as advised by your Pyjama Drama teacher
- If a child is unable to attend a class or classes, due to sickness, holiday or a decision by the customer not to attend, we regret that we are unable to automatically refund payment as this secures an ongoing place on our programme. Refunds are at the discretion of the Pyjama Drama teacher and in any event, will incur a minimum admin fee of £25
- In the case of workshops, Interactive Performances and parties, Pyjama Drama is under no obligation to provide refunds for cancellations received less than seven working days before the commencement of the activity
- In the event of a lesson being cancelled at short notice (less than 48 hours notice) by a teacher, customers will be credited for that lesson on the following invoice
- If a customer’s cheque is returned by the bank unpaid, a £10 administration charge may be applied
- For class cancellations, teachers will give as much notice as possible. In the event of a last minute class cancellation, customers will be notified by text message or call to their mobile phone. Please ensure you provide your teacher with up-to-date contact details
Head Office Competitions
- Competition details form part of these terms and conditions
- Entry is open to residents of the UK except for employees (and their families) of Pyjama Drama (UK), its printers and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competitions.
- The entrant(s) must be aged 18 or over.
- Proof of identity and age may be required.
- Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
- All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.
- Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
- The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
- The winner(s) is(are) responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prizes, including any necessary travel documents, passports and visas. Prizes are subject to availability and the prize suppliers' terms and conditions.
- The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
- In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
- The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Pyjama Drama relating to any post-winning publicity.
- Unless stated otherwise all postal entries must be made on the relevant coupon or form printed in the magazine.
- Unless stated otherwise the winner(s) will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by the closing date stated in the promotional material.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random, or in the event that the promotion is being judged the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner(s)-up selected by the same judges.
- Confirmation of the prize will also be made in writing to the winner(s).
- Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
- Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision. Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
- The provider of the prize is specified within the promotional material.

- In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material (or any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry), the details of the promotional material (and any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry) shall prevail
In the case of adverse weather, where a session goes ahead (when the venue has been judged by the teacher to be accessible and safe), Pyjama Drama is under no obligation to refund sessions that may be missed in the event of adverse conditions local to yourselves preventing you from attending the session
Class times & venues
It is occasionally necessary to change the time or venue of a class. This will only be done if necessary, and we will do our best to keep class times as similar as possible, but unfortunately, this cannot always be guaranteed
Refer a friend vouchers
a. The Pyjama Drama Refer a Friend Scheme is available to existing Pyjama Drama customers (customers who have at some point paid for a Pyjama Drama session, workshop or party). They are known as ''Referring Customers” The Scheme is also available to all individuals who have never paid for a Pyjama Drama session, workshop or party. They are known as “Referred Customers.”
b. To be eligible for the Scheme Referring Customers must:
Be a Pyjama Drama customer who has previously paid for and attended at least one Pyjama Drama session, workshop or party
Legally be able to join such programmes in their country
c. To be eligible for the Scheme Referred Customers must:
Have never attended or paid for a Pyjama Drama session, workshop or party
d. Referred customers cannot use Refer a Friend vouchers for special sessions or Pyjama Drama merchandise
e. The Refer a Friend Scheme can be withdrawn at any time
f. It is at the discretion of each franchisee when to use Refer a Friend vouchers
Although rare, there may be occasions when we need to have a different teacher taking your session (as teachers fall ill, leave etc.). Also, due to the thorough nature of our training, we may occasionally need to have a new teacher taking the session. They are always fully trained at this point, but they need to teach a series of classes to complete their professional development. We will always endeavour to provide warning of a different teacher but unfortunately cannot always guarantee to do so
Our teachers regularly survey customers to ensure that they are pleased and satisfied with the service provided and can support us with positive developments for the future.
