Drama

Drama, pretending and role-play are some of the most instinctive things that children do. They laugh, they play, they learn.

At this young age, drama is how children make sense of the world around them; they recreate events that happen to them, use their imaginations to explore different worlds and role-play characters to see how they fit into it all. Pyjama Drama allows children to lead the way in the drama by cleverly mixing improvisation with structured classes.

At Pyjama Drama our emphasis is on role play and imagination, not performance. Our classes do include 'stage time', which the children love and in many children we see the blossoming of a lifelong love of drama but we're not deliberately setting out to teach the children to be actors and performers. Drama has many benefits for children, all of which our franchisees see every day, but first and foremost Pyjama Drama is about having lots and lots of fun!

If you'd like to find out where your nearest drama class is, please visit our classes page to find out more. We hope to see you at a class soon but in the meantime why not bring a little Pyjama Drama fun in to your world by playing some Pyjama Drama games at home? Have fun!
